Canine education is so much more than simply training dogs...
To live the lives we truly want to with our dogs we need to learn to understand and meet their needs in different situations, build their trust and connection with us and their confidence in navigating the world around them. In fact there's just as much for us humans to learn as there is for us to teach our dogs!
At Newton Aycliffe, we use fun, reward-based training games to build strong and reliable behaviour patterns and to give our dogs the skills they need. And we'll teach you to read your dog so you can both be successful.
Hi! We are Sonya & Lesley and we are qualified dog trainers, passionate about improving the lives of dogs and their families.
We set up Newton Aycliffe Dog Training Club in 2021 with the goal of bringing people and their dogs together, building a greater understanding of how dogs communicate and learn and sparking a passion for doing more with dogs.
We are here to help you learn how to meet your dog's needs, build awesome skills and introduce lasting harmony into your home. If you wish to, you can go on to learn sports with us which your dog will LOVE.
Amazing bonds are built through learning together, and strengthened with every joyful moment shared.
